I believe that instincts are the key missing piece in our quest to create Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). In other words, we need artificial instincts in order to bridge the “Lorenzian gap” and achieve human-like artificial intelligence.

Which implies that we have to make our future humanoid robots ticklish, give them the ability to blush… and, of course, make them horny most of the time.
